It was an approach characteristic of everything Griffith’s Neighbourhood House stands for, as a local ‘work for the dole’ project gave the centre the facelift it desperately needed. A Federal government program, ‘work for the dole’ teaches PARTICIPANTS essential skills while benefiting community organisations.
