Rebecca gains Employment through the Orange Jobs Club
Orange NSW job seeker Rebecca has regained her confidence since getting into work.
Earlier this year, Rebecca joined Sureway’s “Jobs Club” – an intensive work group for clients with sizeable barriers to employment.
A medical condition has left Rebecca in need of a lot of dental work which was proving a difficult obstacle when meeting with employers, mostly through Rebecca’s lack of confidence.
As part of the program, Rebecca’s Consultant Kylie was able to help her put a dental care plan, and she started to get traction in job-ready sessions with Consultants Darren and Michelle.
Rebecca showed great dedication through the program, and upon completion the Orange team were able to link her with a local motel from a long-standing working relationship. Rebecca undertook a work placement and her skills shone through. She has now secured ongoing work with the motel.
Rebecca said, “I can’t thank Sureway enough for believing in me and giving me this great opportunity – I won’t let you down!”
Consultant Kylie said that it was fantastic to see such a lift in Rebecca’s confidence thanks to her new employment.
