A shout out to South Coast Laundry Services – one of our favourite employers in the Wonthaggi area – for their continued support of local employment!
Anthony and Nicole of SCLS have been working with Wonthaggi Consultant Jemma since 2020 to fill and upskill their workforce for the long-term. To date, Anthony and Nicole have employed over 5 locals with more positions to fill in the near future.
The business was pleased to be able to take up the Australian Government’s Wage Subsidy program for a range of their employees.
Jemma said that the Subsidies helped ensure long-term stability for both employer and employee.
“Wage Subsidies are available for businesses that hire an eligible job seeker. They are designed to assist with the cost of wages and make long-term employment accessible and viable.”
