Jazmine is Trainee of the Year
Previous Murray Bridge Workforce Australia client Jazmin has achieved great success in her first year of work, taking out the title of Trainee of the Year at the 2021 Murraylands Training & Employment Awards.
Jazmine always presented as an engaged and enthusiastic young client. Consultant Tracy described her as ‘always interested in any additional training programs or opportunities that she could participate in that would lead to an employment opportunity.’
Jazmin worked closely with Tracy on brushing up her resume and career pathways, when a position arose to work within the Sureway Murray Bridge team. Jazmine applied and interviewed for the role, and whilst she wasn’t successful Tracy said that during the process, they observed some of Jazmine’s hidden strengths and identified that a traineeship or an apprenticeship would help her excel.
With Jazmine’s interest in Administration, Tracy started the search for an appropriate traineeship position. Before long, and opportunity with MTE was identified as a great fit which would enable Jazmine to complete a Cert III in Business Administration.
Jazmine was successful in gaining the role and has recently completed her first year of the traineeship. Her success has seen her nominated as a finalist in the 2021 Murraylands Training & Employment awards. Tracy and the rest of the Murray Bridge Workforce Australia team were thrilled to attend the Awards evening in September in support of Jazmine where she was crowned Trainee of the Year! Congratulations to Jazmine, we know you have a bright career ahead.
