NESA Awards for Excellence 2019 Finalists Announced

Sureway are extremely proud to announce that Sue Jerrerd from our Mansfield Workforce Australia team has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Employment Consultant of the Year in the 2019 NESA Awards for Excellence.
Sue, who has worked in the employment services industry for over 19 years, was nominated for her outstanding commitment to changing the lives of ‘her people’.
Her creativity shines when it comes to assisting people into work – most notably her Sureway Women’s Action Network (SWAN) initiative – a small group of female clients that meet at the office to build friendships, support one another through difficult times, and diminish feelings of isolation in the small town of 5,000. To date, SWAN has lead four people to secure employment and a further two to undertake education-and the site is 5 stars.
This finalist nomination is a great achievement for Sue, and we hope that you will join us in congratulating her.
The NESA National Conference Gala Awards will be held in Melbourne during August. In 2018, the Employment Consultant of the Year title was taken out by our own Deidre Hindmarsh from Kiama NSW and we hope to continue this streak for Team Sureway in 2019.
Sureway would like to extend a congratulations to our other nominees Rebecca Sturt (Achiever of the Year), Chandler Macleod (Champion Employer of the Year) and Diversity Dimensions (Collaboration and Innovation in Indigenous Employment) for their outstanding achievements.
