The main job of a Support Coordinator is to help NDIS participants to better understand the range of supports included in their plans; help them to connect with community and government services; and help them to develop the skills needed for independence.

We can negotiate with support providers on your behalf and ensure that service agreements and bookings are fulfilled. We can also help you to prepare for plan reviews.

This service is suitable for people with Level 2: Coordination of Supports in their NDIS Plans.

NDIS plans can be confusing to understand and coordinate. Your Support Coordinator will explain how you can utilise your NDIS plan and funding to achieve your life goals. You will be presented with options as ultimately it will be you who exercises choice and control in what supports you engage with.

Your Support Coordinator will point you out to government and local area services that may be of benefit to you. They can contact these services on your behalf, negotiate service agreements, and will regularly check in with you to see if you are happy with your service providers.

Your initial meeting with a Sureway Support Coordinator will be a free consultation in which you can decide if you would like to continue working with them.

Once you engage a Sureway Support Coordinator, they will meet with you on an ongoing basis to help you get the most out of your plan, review what is going well and what isn’t working, and help you to resolve any problems you might encounter.
