Career Transition Assistance (CTA) is an Australian Government initiative to assist mature age PARTICIPANTS build skills and confidence to become more competitive in the modern labour market.
Sureway’s CTA program, Careerway, is designed to help you identify and grow your existing skills, and build the confidence you need to find meaningful employment in your local area.
Our experienced Careerway Facilitators will provide you with an individualised experience that focuses on articulating transferrable skills and experiences, and increasing your digital literacy for job searching and the workplace.
Delivered in a small group session, this program in delivered in under eight weeks and aims to support you to:
increase confidence in the skills and experience you already have, and build personal resilience strategies
explore and understand local job and training opportunities
gain and improve your digital IT skills, including using email and Microsoft Word
complete winning applications for particular industries and employers, including online job applications
practise and enhance your interview skills
meet local employers

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to participate you must be aged 45 years or over, and be registered with a Workforce Australia provider in locations across Central West (NSW), Murray Riverina (NSW), Goulburn Murray (VIC), Mid North SA (SA) and Murray South East (SA) where Career Transition is delivered.
DELIVERY
Participation in Career Transition Assistance (CTA) is generally offered face-to-face in a group classroom-like environment. Delivery includes one-on-one time with your trainer and take-home workbooks, digital or hard copy depending on your preference, to be completed throughout the course.
