Counselling Can Help

If you are a Sureway Participant, you may be eligible to access counselling or social support at NO COST to you.

Are you facing personal challenges that are impacting your ability to look for work? We help Workforce Australia and Disability Employment Services participants to better manage the life challenges that impact on their ability to find and keep a job.

We can help you with:

  • Feelings of depression, anxiety or stress
  • Grief and trauma
  • Relationships
  • Anger and conflict
  • Sleep
  • Substance use and other addictions
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Setting and achieving goals
  • Life changes
  • Personal growth and wellbeing
  • Employment goals

Life Skills Coordinators

Life Skills Coordinators are Allied Health Professionals that can link you to specialised support services within your community.

They have in-depth knowledge of the local services that may benefit you in overcoming your barriers to employment.

They can help with a variety of barriers such as:

  • Homelessness or inadequate access to safe and secure accommodation
  • Referrals to housing assistance
  • Referrals to Drug or alcohol addiction treatments (including rehabilitation)
  • Referrals to specialist family violence or sexual assault services, group support, anger management, housing, or crisis accommodation.
  • Parenting Courses
  • Cultural Services
  • Personal Development & Self-Improvement Courses
  • Referrals to Medical and/or Health Services
  • Assistance in seeking legal aid
