What is Tailored Learning?

Tailored Learning is a program that gives students one-on-one support to stay connected with school, build their confidence, and plan for their future.

Students will be matched with a Case Manager who will work with them each week on their learning, wellbeing, and goals - whether that’s finishing school, getting work experience, or preparing for further study or training.

Support is tailored to each participant. Depending on individual needs, this may include education support, career guidance, skills development, work experience, training, wellbeing support and assistance preparing for employment.

Is Tailored Learning different from School?

It is designed for young people who may find mainstream education challenging or who would benefit from a different learning environment.

The program focuses on understanding the individual and creating a pathway that reflects their needs, strengths and goals.

What happens when I join Tailored Learning?

When you join, the first step is getting to know you, your goals and what you would like to achieve.

Your Case Manager can then work with you to identify appropriate learning, training, wellbeing and employment opportunities and develop a pathway that suits you.
