What is Inclusive Employment Australia?

Inclusive Employment Australia is a government-funded program that helps people with a disability, injury or health condition. It was previously known as Disability Employment Services (DES).

Who is eligible for Inclusive Employment Australia?

You may be eligible if you have a disability, injury or health condition that affects your ability to work, are aged 14–67.

Do I need to be receiving Centrelink payments?

No. You don’t need to be receiving Centrelink payments to access Inclusive Employment Australia. A provider can help determine the right pathway for you.

How do I access the program?

You can join through a Centrelink referral or contact us directly. Once registered, you’ll work with a consultant to create a personalised employment plan.

What support will I receive?

Support includes career advice, resume and interview preparation, training opportunities, job matching, and ongoing support once you start work.

How does the program work?

After you join, your provider will work with you to understand your goals and develop a tailored plan to help you prepare for, find, and succeed in employment.

What happens once I get a job?

Once you start work, your provider continues to support you and your employer to help you settle in, build confidence, and succeed long-term.

What if I’m not eligible?

If you’re not eligible, we can connect you with other employment programs and services that better suit your needs.
